Arlington ISD Review of Libraries

This book is one in the ‘What Makes a Community?’ series by J. P. Press. It begins with teaching tips for before, during, and after reading, followed by a table of contents. Closely focused photographs are included in every page spread and illustrates the function and features of public libraries. The text is large, simple, and features bolded words for key vocabulary related to the topic. The book discusses library cards, types of books and the variety, the children’s area, places to read, computer usage, toys & games, as well as the checkout and return process.
